Faith in Action: Healing & Serving the Marginalized
Initiated in 2011, the CSI Community Development Programme (Punnakkadu Model) is widely cited across the CSI Synod and Kerala as an inspiring template for how a local worshipping parish can become a catalyst for holistic rural development.
Rather than relying on massive external funding, the initiative is powered by Sunday offertories, contributions of voluntary doctors and healthcare specialists, and dedicated youth volunteers. The services are extended to all people irrespective of religion, caste, or background.
